Just saw a show on local cable access about an artist in this area who carves quilts from basswood. I've seen his work in art shows here before. You cannot tell they are not quilts looking at them from a foot away. Check out his site and be sure to click on the pictures. He designs his works in Corel Draw. http://home1.gte.net/fraser/faq.htm
