Thanks Tony. To tell the truth, we never even thought of showing taped video on HeadTV until last night. We remembered Gail Beattie showing her upover trip on HeadTV. That prompted us to try it.
We've been fooling with a thing called The Letterville DriveIn for sometime. The idea is to bring you short video clips. These might include meets, workshops, interviews and whatever else we can think up together.
The biggest hurdle with this plan is bandwidth and file size. 1 meg of uncompressed video uses close to 500 meg of disk space. We can compress it, but the quality is drastically reduced. We're confident this can be solved as technology evolves.
In the meantime, the option of sharing video via HeadTV has got many of us excited. We'll be looking for good stuff to tape and invite all of you to do the same. Sorry Si...none of those videos!
