just wanting to find out if anyone knows how to put the thick urethane style coating on vinyl like all the dirt bike graphic kits etc, looking for something strong for go-karts to take some wheel rubbing action etc

I think the dirt bike & ATV decal kits are printed on the back side of the clear, then coated with adhesive.

Check out this product: CONVEX by Graphic marking systems.
Also "doming" is another treatment you could finish a standard decal with.

You could spray it with a urethane clear, either an automotive variety or the clear urethane screenprinting inks. Otherwise you'll need laminating equipment to produce that heavy stuff.
