To post a picture after you have uploaded it to a server.. How To Upload to a Server all you have to do is use the instant UBB code it is directly under the message box you type your post in.
If you don't see it just click on Full Reply Forum and it will appear.

You will see a list of 10 boxes. Select image and another box will appear. Type in the full URL to your image. It should look like this.

"http://www.your_webhost guy/images/your_photo.jpg"

Leave out the "" marks.

If you don't have your own site to upload photos to, you can try one the one listed below or I can't resist telling you all about another Resident Perk. If you are sick and tired of dealing with the agravation of other photo posting services, this is for you. Letterville will store your photos for you. Not only that, we'll provide you with an easy to use upload tool. Think of all the time and frustration you will save.

The photo upload and storage is just one of a series of Resident Perks, given as thanks to those who choose to support Letterville fiancially. To learn more, take a few minutes and visit our Letterville Resident's Page .

Here's a few tips on saving your photos for the web, and the BB in particular.

1. If your image is a photograph with more than 240 colors, save it as a .jpg. If it is artwork with only a few colors, a .gif is the way to go.

2. Save your image at 72dpi. Any higher resolution just isn't needed for a monitor.

3. Keep your image under 500 pixels in width.

4. If using a jpg, always compress it before saving it for the web. I usually save my images at 75% their original file size. You'll be amazed how much your file size is reduced without any loss of quality. It will load faster and reduce bandwidth use at our end.
