So after more than 2 decades operating a Summacut D620 out of CorelDraw 7 with windows drivers on an old Windows 98 laptop, I am faced with the prospect of updating and I'm not sure where to start. My Compaq Armada laptop has been working great until recently when it started occasionally and randomly freezing in the middle of jobs. I've looked without success for an older laptop that would run win95/98 with my current software setup so I may have to bite the bullet and go with a newer laptop/software that will run the old D620. I don't see the need to get a newer cutter as this one isn't really a 'high mileage machine' and still works great. And besides I'm in the twilight of my career so I'd rather keep the 'vintage' gear working. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions???
