Decades ago, I read here about a bleeder that I could use to redraw a sign, paint over it and then find the lines bleeding through the paint, ready to repaint.
Forgot which brand, maybe Pantone ? Is those still like that or are there any brands that still may be used for this purpose.

Oh, we used to use those pencils. Mostly when repainting neon signs with white letters and a dark background. We'd outline the letters with the pencil and paint the white over the letter area and the indelible pencil would show through enough to cut in a dark background color. KohInoor I think was the major brand name for these and the color that bled through was a dark red. I used to know the number on the pencil to look for as they came out with so many inferior products, but I no longer remember it.
