Its been a long time since I visited, tonight for some bizarre reason my login password popped into my head, so I'm taking it as a sign. Christmas is going to be a very different holiday this season, I hope everyone stays healthy and safe and has an opportunity to connect with their loved ones. I miss the days when I would spend way too much time here. For those who are curious, I am keeping busy with house renos, encaustic painting and grandchildren these days. I'm enjoying the reduced pace of life a lot!

How's life on the farm? Was this year productive as far as growing seed and food? I hope you enjoy the season and not too harsh a winter. We're again, way behind on rainfall here.

Good to see you again Kelly. I'm enjoying the slower pace too. Since Covid, we have no employees so we are getting used to coming to the shop later each day now that we don't have to check on anyone. We've been very busy making signs for all the new construction going up around here.

Hi Rick, Jean and Bob, it was a good farm year, we managed to get off the crop we couldn't in the fall of 2019, plant the new crop and harvest it all in record time. There was very little rain, but yields were surprisingly good all things considered. We are in a pretty complete lockdown so even my sons who we work with can't come for Christmas. I was feeling pretty punk about it but an acquaintance's situation has made me feel grateful just to have us all healthy, and willing to spend a quiet Christmas with my husband. I can't imagine having the one you love on a respirator for two weeks and being unable to see him. Initially it was because she was also infected and had to quarantine, now if she visits she has to go back into quarantine after and if he takes a turn for the worse she won't be able to see him. What a horrible dilemma!

Merry Christmas to all from the West Coast of Canada. It is feeling Christmas here as wee got our first (wet) snow today. The younger grandkids are getting very excited for the big day! Those who have visited with Phoebe will be surprised to hear she turned 16 today! Time flies when we are having fun!!!
It is definitely going to be a much quieter Christmas this year. We will be only ten for Christmas dinner, possible because we all live on property and have been quarantining as a family since the start. Normally we have between twenty and thirty at Christmas dinner... so ten will seem relatively quiet.
Here's to all the hope 2021 will bring!

Merry Christmas. We had 30” snow on Dec 21st On Dec 23. & 24 temps were about 60, with rain and wind. Most of the snow is gone, I think it wound up in our basement. Sump pump is still pumpin* out, fans are drying out those parts that don,t have puddles.
