Okay, I just bought the blades from Amazon. I will post a review in a few days.

What is it, 3 weeks to get my blades. Little package in my mailbox,,, with Chinese return address. Even a Chinese phone number,,,Ahhhhhhh!!!!!. I tossed the package in the sink and washed it all with hot water and soap. Took out the blades and washed them to. Tomorrow I'll give one of the new blades a test cut. Side note,,,, I was kinda wanting to call the Chinese phone number to ask em how they be a doing with all of that Conoravirus going on out there.

And,,,,,well maybe not the best. I had to adjust the height of the blade. Tore up the vinyl before I even send a cut to it. After the height adjustment was done it still made track cutting marks as it moved along. Cuts were okay. But like I said, I had to adjust the height and lower the cutting pressure. This means every time I put some vinyl in the plotter, I'm gonna have to make sure height and pressure are correct for the vinyl.

Sorry to hear that the least expensive option isn't working out as well as you had hoped. I went thru a similar many years ago. It turned out, for me, that buying genuine original blades from the manufactuer was the best option.

I am with Dave, the only "off brand" purchases for me is paper towels. The cheapos at the dollar store work just fine, no absorption additives, fragrance or anything.
