Have any of you had experience dealing with vector art from a foreign country? I am working for a cheese company with ownership in France...but they are in Turlock (here). I noticed something weird in their logo (kind of a cross between a sunflower and a sunrise over green hills) and I realized it looked symmetrical but it wasn't. Once I looked critically I found that nothing was the same but looked very like it. I went in with trusty Flexi 8.6 and found node points in the oddest places. Even the center- the sun, if you will, was not an oval but a hand drawn ovoid thingy with lots of points that make no sense. I didn't want to tread on any body's toes so I asked about it carefully and they said go ahead and clean it up. This is a large company and I'm doing several title signs for the plant. I don't think any ones daughter or son-in-law drew it. Its just strange. I wondered if there was some different philosophy going on in europe? If some one tells me how to post I'll share it.

Odd node placement can be the result of converting from one file format to another... ai to eps... ai to cdr... etc.
