Customer sent their layout for information signs with tons of copy to be printed. The version sent in a docx file. I can open it and copy/paste into Flexi just fine. What I find is things disconnected. There might be a first letter of a word not attached to the rest of the word and words not attached to sentences, so I can't make grammatical or space corrections. Any ideas how to join the text? The "join text" function in Flexi breaks it worse.

I have that problem with docx files too, Rick. I try to export them in doc. I have a recent word prgm that will accept the file and I export it in doc.
My problem is churches and companies that update their word program every year and screw me up big time! I can't afford to update every year. Jer/Artworx

I run into this a lot. It is the embedded format codes you don't see. Put your cursor at the end of each line and hit delete, and the next line should come around. Do that for each line and then you can format it as you wish.
Hope that helps. Real Mercier

Are you still working on this, or did you get it resolved?

Ya know what the problem is? People just think "Well, all he is going to do is print it." And you know what happens? You windup re-typing out the whole thing. This way you can choose the correct font, kerning, spacing etc. Now if the job isn't too far from your shop, maybe you can drive to them and save the work on a Thumb Drive or CD in a format the you know will work for you. My workhorse runs on Windows 7.
