Can 1/2 in PVC board be cut with a Laser? I was told it would burn.

what are you wanting to make out of the PVC?
depending on the size of the project, the ole Roto-Zip will leave nice clean cut edges. sort of like a hand-held scroll saw. use a sheet of 2" styrofoam as the sacrificial bottom with a 1/8" downward spiral bit. on larger projects, the standard hand-held router with the 1/4" downward spiral bit works fine also..... [try it ~ you'll like it]

LOL - and speaking of Amy Brown, HOWDY DOODY !! yeah, life takes a toll sometimes.
Amy is one of the first members that I introduced to cutting letters and graphics out of HDU with the Roto-Zip and actually selling them for money. but, alas - the CNC routers and water jets are turning us "Old School" artisans out to pasture. Alicia, please share your PVC project with us.
