Everything about his painting is very realistic until you look at that God awful sky. I'd like to see what he can do when he can afford to buy brushes.

That's a Bob Ross without brushes! It's a happy sky over looking a happy cottage. If I saw much more play with the light, I say it's a Thomas Kinkade knockoff.

Shirl and I have watched "street painters" creating works of art in Progreso for 20 years, in a similar manner. They usually sell them for about $20. (Well, they try for $100 but will go as low as $20, since they can do the job in 10 minutes)
Most of the renderings do not involve that "strange/weird" skyscape that Dave mentioned.
But those guys ARE very talented.
As are many of the rattle can graffiti artists around here.
We have 3 friends down here who chose to hire graffiti artists to decorate the walls of their properties and they look quite beautiful.
A local school painted the entire outside wall of their playground in white and invited taggers to decorate the wall, in good taste, and the result was mind blowing!!! Totally respectful, fun and beautiful.
