I have created a file in Corel that I want to send to Signs365 to print out. They only print in RGB. When I export the file the dark blue colors change to a dull blue/gray. I'm trying to get a rich navy blue color print. Every time I "export" in Corel the default setting is CMYK, which I have to change to RGB as it is exporting - how do I change the default to RGB. I'm wondering if that will make a difference. I don't have problems with other colors.

Try exporting your file as a .TIFF file. That's a universal format that most printers can use/import. Have a close look at the colours before you send them the file. I've almost always used that file extension when ordering large format prints.

If you want to change the default setting, go to TOOLS>OPTIONS>DOCUMENT>GENERAL and you will find a drop down box allowing you to select between CMYK and RGB.
It's also at TOOLS>CUSTOMIZATION>DOCUMENT>GENERAL. Either choosing OPTIONS or CUSTOMIZATION at the TOOLS menu takes you to the same screen.
The attached screen grab shows the screen where you would make the change.

I have the same problem,,looks great on the screen, but when I export it as a jeg, bad thing happen. The greens get neon yellowie looking, dark blues turn into process blue. I have to re-adjust it before I send it out. That means giving everything a color punch, plus making sure black is black, not reddie or wishy washie black.

Just my very old experience...Never trust what you see on a monitor to reflect what a printer will deliver.
That is why folks with digital printers make up panels of colours so they know what RGB or CMYK combinations will work with their particular printers.
Heck, I am retired and only help out friends with small projects for free, but I always print out a "spectrum" of colours before I print out the final result.
Most of the time my friends are happy with "any" result, but I like to be a bit more accurate.

I have an HP all in one color laser that gets me pretty close to what I can expect from the printer. MUCH closer than my monitor or inkjet printer.

Jean, why not let Signs 365 convert the colors to RGB. I asked them in chat and they said they would do it. Oh wait, you have Corel, I see they don't take CDR files. What about saving it as a PDF with editing capabilities on or even EPS and let them convert. I've never had problems in Illustrator going back and forth from CMYK to RGB while in vector format. Maybe the colors will be maintained in vector.

Thanks very much for the replies. I believe I've solved the issue. I changed all my defaults in Corel from CMYK to RGB as per David's instructions. I also changed my on screen color pallet to RGB. Now when I export the file as a jpg the colors look truer to the original ones.

I was going to suggest going from CMYK to the closest PMS colour, then into RGB...
But I'd have tried exporting is as a PDF from Corel first, and as Dave said above, let them convert it.
