Just wondering what type of paint you would use on a GYM Wall,, it is painted concrete block, I find it's such a pain to paint with oneshot, it seems it wants to run, it builds up in the nookes and crannys,, I'm thinking a good latex paint would work.. any thoughts?
Hope all is well.

I might be leaning toward Nova paint since it is thick. I know the Diaz's used Nova on the murals they did and they love the paint. They will probably chime in to help you.
It also might depend on what type of paint is on the wall now. Is it a high gloss paint? Might need sanding. Here's a link to what Nova says about prep.

Thanks!! Its a new school so Its certainly water based acrylic on there... now the problem is finding Nova... or I'll just use a good quality latex....All the best!

Nova can only be purchased on-line from their home in California. I do a lot of school gym walls and Nova is the best I've found since Porter is no longer available. I use Sherwin Williams some, especially if the school or paint contractor specifies it, but it always takes two coasts.
