Hello everyone.... I am trying to find a product that is expanded metal wire frame for the background for some lettering. I have seen it used in the past but not sure if I am explaining it properly. The holes are diamond shaped and comes in different size holes?
Anyone know what I am talking about? I tried a search here and did a Google search...but nothing.
Thanks...
Jackson

Your local metal supper should have a catalogue and sample handy for you. Just google steel supplier in your area.

If you are looking for images I googled 'steel mesh' and hundreds of images came up.

There are pretty cool looking and inexpensive pieces of it at your big box hardware stores, near the concrete supplies. About 2' X 8' IIRC. For heavier stuff, find a metal supplier, not just a metal working shop that happens to sell some.

You guys rock. Found it at McNichols and they have a store in Auburn, Washington. Thanks Wayne...
It seem to be thick enough to be able to mount cast metal letters on it then mount directly to wall. Any thing I have to be aware of in doing this project? 3/16" holes and 5/64th thick panel. Comes in 4'x8' sheets.
Thanks again....:-)
(still feeling sad about losing Cisco...:-( We sure have lost a bunch of letterheads over the years. )
