Friday afternoon, Carolyn Yearwood, escaped her battle with cancer and went home to be with God. She fought with courage for four years. My heart breaks for Mark. If you believe in prayer, please say one for the family. Rest in peace, sweet lady.

passing on, is the release from pain and suffering for that person, so it should be accepted as such by those who are here to witness their release. she is in a better place.

Thank you all. I'm not on here as much now, but after Raymond drove 8 hours up to the memorial, I wanted to come here and say thank you. Carolyn is no longer in pain, but she is missed already. Thank you Raymond and family for surprising me today. Much love.

Carolyn's memorial service was a celebration of her life and the room was packed. She was an outstanding lady that spent her life caring for others. One of the statements made about her was that she never said an unkind work about anyone.
Mark was constantly at her side throughout the four year battle with cancer. His love for her was evident and a great inspiration to us all.
Mart said that I drove 8 others...actually, my son Mike did all the driving and I just enjoyed the ride. It was a good trip to spend time with Mike and his wife, Julie. In addition to being able to celebrate Carolyn's life, I got to spend a little time with Mark at the meal following the burial and to meet his extended family. They are all just great folks.

Sad times, glad times. Sad to lose a loved one to such a harsh disease, glad times because their battle is ended. Prayers go to the family. Peace, Don

Mark, My heart goes out to you. I offer you my condolences. Uncle Stanley always said and I quote "There is nothing so terrible in this world that some good does not come from it" I have found comfort in it.
