I sent some 3M Controltac prints to my customer, about 600 miles from, here, but the paint on his vehicle, a trailer, is chalking really bad and his installers are having trouble getting it to stick. Other than ship him some Rapid Tac and Rapid Prep, what would you suggest to solve this problem?

I would suggest he take the trailer to a body shop and have them run over it with a buffer and some very fine rubbing compound. Not wax.

Sorry guys....false alarm.....no kind of washing will cure this.
He called again, said he had sanded it with 60 GRIT and the stuff kept coming , then he finally mentioned the word that explains it all: FIBERGLAS. The trailer panels are fiberglas. I told him to buy some painted .040 aluminum, rivet it on, then apply the stickers. Go easy...he's my cousin.
