I just spoke with Barb, and she would like to gather some things that represent Steve's life to have at the ceremony.
She has asked me to put the word out to see if someone has a photo or a photocopy of one of the panels he would do at meets for people with Steve's casual script - you know, like one of those full alphabet panels.
So, if you have one of these panels, or know someone who has one, can you please email barb@letterville.com (and let me know too). It would be very much appreciated.

Thanks so much Kimberly. I absolutely love the photo that you put on Facebook (it says a lot about Steve all in one image), but I think they are looking for a panel where he wrote out the whole alphabet. I'm not sure how many of them are out there, but it sounded to me like Barb thought that Steve made a number of them at various meets. I'm saving that photo you posted for sure!

I know where one is but I can't access it. Steve painted one for Alicia Krey at Shirley Carron's meet in Renfrew in 2003. It's at Alicia's parents home, buried in a closet ... I know that ... but they've moved a few times & I've lost track of them & no longer have contact information. I had a photocopy of it but I've lot it as well ..... I always wanted to get someone to turn it into a font, as it's one of my favourites. Sorry .........
