Peter and Hailey (son & daughter-in-law) are now partners in Sawatzky's Imagination. It's a move Janis & I are very excited about. Previously I was slowly narrowing our focus with the intent of gradually taking less work over the next decade or so. Now we are still keeping a narrow focus but expanding the company once more. Last year we ramped up to just over twenty employees but settled back down to the best twelve as that large project wrapped up and we started the next.
Our goal is to do the bulk of our work in the shop and then do limited installs as required. With Peter and I both actively involved in the shop we are concentrating on ramping up the quality. We have work in progress and pending that will keep us busy for the next two years. There's still room for some smaller projects but we are super fussy as to what we take and what we pass on. It's a good place to be.
Even so we are not sitting still. We just finished redoing our website. We spend a fair amount of time on our social pages in a strategic manner with good results.
As we take our company to the next level we are also taking the time to document our work carefully for future promotional needs. We had a professional video company come in to do some video recording and interviews over the last while. Our goal is to produce a series of short videos which we will use to promote our company and help position ourselves even better for the future. The first video was released today.
If you are so inclined take a trip to our new website and take a look. The new video is on the first page. www.imaginationcorporation.com

It was Dave Smith's videos and comments on the same that inspired us to go this route. The response has been amazing.
