In the little town of Yarrow everyone goes out onto their porch at midnight with a wooden spoon an a big pot. At midnight they bangs The pot joyfully to welcome in the New Year. It's great fun and a delight to hear!

And I thought that my family was the only one that banged pots and pans on New Years Eve. Lets all hope for a better new year, one without war,poverty, sickness and crooked people in Washington.
