A friend of mine asked me to mount his 38" x 60" laminated Aviation map to something, so that he can hang it on his wall, and stick pins in it (of locations).

Does anyone have experience with mounting large maps to semi-firm substrates? Foamcore, or coroplast, or Gator Foam?

Any help would be appreciated!

What about cork? I can buy 1/8" cork off a 48" roll at the building supply. Spray glue.

Thanks Rick - I didn't even think of cork. I suppose I could spray glue a piece of cork to a piece of coroplast and spray glue the map to the cork - and frame it or not.

Thanks!
