Anyone have a saying about signs, or art? Here are a couple I have heard before
"A business with no sign, is a sign of no business" "Taste costs money" and perhaps the universally applicable... "When you assume, you make an ASS out of U and ME"

All signs must be approved by the customers wife before we start. If we are not satisfied with the sign, it does not go out the door until we are satisfied. Our job is to make you look good.

You get to pick any 2 of the above, not all 3. I get to control what's left.

"Signs...your silent salesman!" I'm kicking around something to this effect: "A (wall, window, truck) with no lettering is like an employee with 1 arm tied behind his back" Or, as I have below a picture of a truck I lettered; "This truck does twice the work". I also made a rough draft of a cartoon where a business man is looking out a third floor window at lots of traffic going by, the walls below him are blank, and he's wondering "How can I reach them?"

I get people who come in and tell me they do not have anymore wall space when looking at art.... I ask them if their trailer park allows double wides and maybe they need to trade up.
Then I just sold a painting to a couple who live in an Air Stream!
