I have a prospective customer who is asking about painting some way-finding graphics and lettering on a painted block wall. Actually, several walls. He sent a sample of the graphics and lettering they want and it looks like the smallest letters will be 2 1/2" or so in height with a thin stroke. Sounds like a real nightmare to try and get a professional result with lettering quills and fitches. Does anyone have a technique (or source for a technique) that might make a job like this doable?
Thanks in advance for any help or guidance.

You might be able to get the job done by cutting graphics and copy on stencil material, then spray paint, lettering and/or graphics, with aerosol cans or an airbrush.....

I used to get good results with a soft haired fitch on cinder block masonry as long as it had a good coat of paint on it first,....Mack sells the 4031 and 4039 series fitches that work great for detailed masonry lettering,...try letterhead sign supply they are merchants here and they stock the Maxk Line of products

Hi Brian, Tim is correct, I use those Mack fitches all the time for that type of work and they're spot on. Brian.
