I was in Cadillac MI visiting family. My son in law who builds dragsters, was showing me how a lot of the motor, body and other parts were coated with this "decal". It had the look of carbon fiber. I was very impressed. What is this process? I tried to google it but only found this permaslide ink sight.

Wow, very interesting. I can see this technology somehow getting into the sign industry by adding copy to the prints. Although, I wonder is this the way welder's helemts are done? You know, the kind that have the really cool artwotk plastered all over them. In the videos the parts were dipped by hand. I'm sure in the fancy world of modern inventions, there's already a machine that automates the whole process.
