They bug me every day, sometimes twice a day, so I finally updated. The last time I did so, it turned out they were, in fact Google. The rep looked up my business and it came up near the top on the first page. He said I didn't need anything and wished me a nice day. The rep today saying "update your Google listing" said he looked up signs and I came to the top but he said that "dimensional signs" and "custom signs" did not. They want "$100 startup fee and $195/month. I thought they were "Google" until I asked the rep to send me an email to review.... http://www.brandrep.com/

The only thing worse than being interrupted in the middle of a job by someone trying to sell you something is someone trying for the four hundredth time.... I've taken to staying on the line, putting it on speaker phone and pushing 1 and then going back to what I was doing. I'm kind of entertained by the other party going hello, hello, is anyone there. Weird thing is since I started doing that some of the persistent calls I was getting have stopped, including the Google ones. I think if everyone started doing this, it would eventually become uneconomical for them to market in that manner. If you just hang up it is just a computer connection, once you "press one" it redirects to a live person and they have to pay someone for answering that. Well, anyhow, that's my theory and it makes me feel better, if I had more time and imagination I'd do a Rodger MacMunn and tell them that they were the ones that called me, and I'm a sign shop so they must need a sign.

They call me everyday two or three times. Instructions are to be removed press "9". Doesn't do any good because they just call back again.
Yesterday I decided to press "1". When a male voice came on the line I said, "I am sick of you calling me everyday. I do not want to hear from you." He hung up on me -- not apologizing for the persistence -- just hung up.
They called back again today. I am going to do what Kelly is doing by pressing "1" and then walking away.

When live ones call me they usually ask for me by name, so I ask who's calling and as soon as I can tell they're spam I tell them to hold on and I'll get Dennis. Then lay the receiver down and forget about it.
