I am looking for a company that sells illuminated sign cabinets. I have noticed that some companies will sell the components and you can fabricate them yourself. I'd be interested in that to save costs and freight.
Any suggestions. I have contacted fortune5sign who has a youtube video on how to fabricate their signs which I really like, but they are not getting back to me.
We usually pass on lighted sign work, but this is a ground mount situation which I think we can handle and it is for a church.
Any recommendations or suggestions? Thanks if you can help.

Bill, I've dealt with Faces, Inc. in Birmingham for a long time, and they've always given good service. They used to do everything from bare cabinet to finished product. Phone:800-800-face. I used to deal with Bob Frey, if he's still there.
I've also dealt with Sign Builders Inc.. Phone 800-222-7330
You can also try Daniels wholesale sign. They're in Florida. Phone: 800-473-7168

Bill, we have used SignFab in Missourri. They've been very helpful (we do very little of this type of work). They also deliver to us (on their own trucks) for free. They might do the same for you up there.

SignFab does good work. And they can build channel letters cheaper than we can do them in house. Though they're known for channel letters, they will build finished cabinets for you, too, like Joy said. www.signfab.com
For knock-down cabinets, Excellart is here in the Kansas City area. We buy their kits through N. Glantz & Son. They have a downloadable pdf catalog. www.excellart.com
McGill Marketing, south of St. Louis, will sell you a knock-down kit or a finished cabinet. We also buy from them through N. Glantz. http://mcgillmarketing.com/
We have also assembled these cabinets using mostly Lord high bond adhesive rather than welding. Welding is better.

Look into Sign Comp... They have excellent kits you can fab yourself. Just use some Lords adhesive. Easy to do...

Hey Bill, I've had great luck with a place over in Indiana called AI Innovations. My contact there is Sam Knoop. I usually email him my specs and he sends back the quote including freight fairly quick. His email is sknoop@aiinovations.com Worth at least seeing what their price is not only on the box signs but fabricating structures. I had a factory needing a large box to slide over the existing I beams and wow did they make my job easy. Stay Warm! Carol
