I used the Zinsser Peel Stop on the siding on my old building and surprisingly it seemed to work well. “Did you ever stop to think, and forget to start again?”

XIM Flash Bond is what we used to coat out old porcelain signs. Nothing else would stick.

Another fairly clear primer sealer is SignLife which was primarily designed to seal and strengthen redwood & cedar for sandblasting.
