Every once in a while a certain word/name comes along that just does not look good in any of the hundreds of fonts/typestyles I have. Can anyone here suggest a good font for the following name?
DOORN'S
By the way this is for a greenhouse if that helps.
I'm willing to buy a font if it is the one.

Hi Marty, Some of the font sites have a display that you can type your text into and then all the fonts will show that text. I know myfonts.com has that feature. I like it because you can quickly scroll through until something catches your eye.

-if you go to dafont.com they have a font called Dutch Harley.
Only some of the capitol letters are decorative. The "D" is one and it has a vine look to it. You might be able to use that D and use another font for the 'oorn's'.
Worth a look...

I think you may be over thinking it. Taking Gerald's suggestions, I don't see why you can't take a common font like Goudy Bold and stylize it to make it work.
I would take a look at some of the logos that Dan Antonelli has done. For example...
