We are about the busiest we've been these days with a very large project on the go that will last into next June. Another large one pending after that will take us into 2015. It's incredible!
We currently have 14 great employees and they accomplish an incredible amount of creative work each day. Here's a peek at some of the latest...
There's a whole lot more of course with new pieces making their debut each week.

Dan, you are the best and the luckiest. How can one man have such an abundance of talent? Thanks for showing all the fine work. Looking forward to much more.

Bill's kind comments make me want to clarify things a little. There's fourteen people currently on our crew. They do the bulk of the work - including the creative stuff. They range in age from 17 - 34 years old (most in their early twenties). Three of them are super artistic and can do pretty much anything with little direction. These three young ladies are doing a lot of the fine carving and sculpting. Jenessa is 21 years old, fresh from university and has been on our crew for only a couple of months. She is amazing. Kendra currently works two days a week while going to university. She's been with us for six months. She can do pretty much anything creative. Hailey is 22 years old, believed she had no artistic talent when she joined our crew two years ago. She is now my second in command and helps lead and direct the crew as they do the creative work. Most of my crew are capable of the fine painting you see. About half are doing the welding on a rotating basis. All apply the fiberglass reinforced concrete and help sculpt.
My own two kids, Peter and Becke both work very part time and are capable of pretty much anything you see here. Peter often tackles the fabrication of the steel armatures on his own with only the slightest direction( only to have it fulfill my vision for the project). He is also skilled at sculpting and painting. Becke concentrates on the awesome paint finishes.
With all of these young people working hard on these projects my portion is relatively minor.
My point in all my rambling is to show that we all are capable of so much more than we believe possible. If my relatively inexperienced and young crew can pull off the amazing pieces you see here, imagine what is possible if we go for it ourselves. Just do it.

One of Dan's great gifts is his ability to bring out the best in other folks. He sees what they (we) can become and then convinces us that we can become that very thing. His positive attitude is contagious and we end up trying our best to be what he sees in us - not necessarily what we see in ourselves. And that's the gift of a leader.
His humble attitude puts others first, above himself and that's why we are so attracted to his way of teaching and being.

The pieces above and a whole bunch more are going up to Cultus Lake which is about ten minutes from our house and studio. It is an ambitious four million dollar expansion to Giggle Ridge Adventure Golf park we built thirteen years ago (and sold two years ago)
The park we built was half an acre. Now it will be almost two acres and include some very large rides and attractions. Our job is to put a very fun theme to the entire project. We've been working on it for almost ten weeks now with just under than eight more months to complete the project.
It is a very challenging and VERY fun project!

The beauty of this project is that the new owners have asked me and my team to build the new adventure park as if it were our own. Chris is acting as the project manager and we work together daily to make this project the very best it can be. It truly is a team effort.
He gets so excited as I share my ideas with him. He and his wife drop into our studio on a regular basis to check out the new pieces as we build.
Their genuine enthusiasm and appreciation goes a long way to make the project gratifying and fun.
