I got a new computer in February, got my Signlab installed but had issues like having to reload my fonts repeatedly, & a blinking cursor while I typed words, but it worked. My computer was freezing up worse & worse, & I have had it in a shop 3 times plus on the phone with my internet provider 6 times. I am changing providers next week.
The last guy who worked on it dumped all the files & programs & reinstalled them. I installed Signlab, but it is saying Free Feature Alert, that it is only a trial! What do I do now? Right now I am going to uninstall it & then reinstall it again.

I have Signlab 8 on Windows 7. It was operating fine besides the glitches I mentioned above, then I had a lot of trouble with my computer freezing for 2-3 minutes at a time. They dumped all my files & programs, had to reinstall. Ever since then it think it is a trial version or something.
Then I was having trouble opening an eps file, & also a pdf that was weird. Then when I closed Signlab, a weird message came on saying that if I had trouble with Signlab operating properly, to click here "to open as administrator". If I do not click yes, it just won't come on! UUGHGHHHH!!!
Ok, now I have been thinking. I have Signlab license files stored on my desktop. Do I need to somehow get those into my Signlab? I do not remember how I did that before, or if my computer guy did it for me.

Yes you must get your license files into SignLab. Last year I got a new computer with Windows 7 Professional and had to upgrade SignLab 5.0 to SignLab 9. Seems like I was instructed install them during the process of installing SignLab. I had trouble getting the license files in there so I called Cadlink and they fixed it for me. Hope you get it figured out soon. Judy
