This is a rough mockup of what would be carved out of 2" 15 lb HDU (sheet price is $390.48). Overall dimensions would be 28" H x 26" W. I will do all the painting etc. and carving. Customer will install. Fox & lily

Well, depending on the amount of detailing, my guestimate would be in the neighbourhood of $1500.00. No less. Now, if you were just doing it as a sandblasted sign, and painting a flat area with the design, then maybe 1200?
I'm no carver tho. Bill Reidel may be the best person to ask.

Thanks Janette. I was in that ballpark and thought I cracked my nut! I may have another shop do a 3d Rout on it, that may allow me to do the finish work. The client has built the base sign and will be routing the name of their business in to the wood and staining it. So my end of the sign is the expensive part...that may not fly.
