The second 'sign' for our client's WhistlePunk Hollow Golf project is a logging truck. It will also function as a feature on hole number 7 and as a photo opportunity. Golfers will golf under the log before circling around the front of the truck to complete their play.
The large welded steel frame under the truck will be imbedded into the concrete walkway/green with the wheels barely touching the ground.
The truck has a heavy duty welded steel frame and is made from fiberglass reinforced concrete save for the sign face on the log which is routed 30 lb Precision Board. All is painted with acrylic paints. The lettering border still needs to be painted white (tomorrow)
I'll be delivering the piece on Sunday afternoon. Should be a fun two hour drive.

Gee, that's a suitably battered looking truck in the front!
