It's been a long time in the works. It's difficult working on your own stuff, while you're trying to get everyone else's projects done. It's that old adage, "the cobbler's kids never have new shoes". I really have liked ALL the sites over the years but the boys said we needed a change. I really like the little cartoon Pontiac that Joe designed in the background. If you have ever been here, you should recognize some of the places.
The new site is a bit more colorful and cheery than the old one. We want the focus to be on design services for this site, even more so than signs. That's kind of the direction we want to go. Another reason for the focus on design services is because we got an unusual amount of out of state inquires for sign work from our old site. We aren't really set up to print wide format graphics and ship them all over the country. We also aren't setup to build signs and crate them up and ship them out. We mainly just want to do sign work in our area, with the exception of maybe murals. On the other hand, we would love to branch out even more with our Design Services. So this explains why the layout of the site looks the way it does.
The site also has a mobile version. We've tested it out on our phones but would love some feedback on that part. When you browse to diazsignart.com on your phone, it should redirect you to diazsignart.com/mobile. We are having trouble getting the redirect to work on Ben's Windows Phone 8. Those of you that have smart phones, if you could do us a favor and test that out and let us know happens. That would be great. We are aware that the site doesn't display properly on the ipad. We are trying to fix that.

Jane this work is beyond great. Joe's illustrations are some of the best I have seen. I know that all of you have contributed to the cause. I can only guess at your pride (the good kind)...if only he had an opinion on the minimum wage. Hahahahah. Love you guys, I can't wait until we can all get together again.

Looks great, always liked the work you guys do, I have a Nokia n9 Linux phone and iPhone 5 and it looks great on smartphone, although as you get older surfing on a phone is not the best experience, I think there the iPad is one of the best gadgets I ever bought!

I like it... but I had some technical issues with the scrolling- if I used the arrow keys to scroll, the background illustrations kinda went crazy and jumped around- not smooth like using the mouse wheel...

It was also really "jerky" when I used the side scroll bar- not really sure why, I'm sure it was designed to be a smooth movement... just giving a heads up

Thanks everyone. Ray, Parallax is the name of the script that causes the different layers of graphics to scroll at different speeds on the website. If you do a google search for "Parallax Websites". You will fins all sorts of really cool sites that use it.

I find the same thing as Michael mentioned...scrolling or sliding or up and down arrows all result in very "jerky" transitions.
BUT the overall website looks wonderful!

I was going to comment on a few logos I thought were particularly cool; like 'Scuba Joe, Nitro Records, etc' but they were all so extraordinarily unique and creative that I decided I couldn't really just pick a few 'best of' to comment on.
Nice website - it is clean and simple to navigate.... I thought it is perhaps a bit of a generic feeling 'front door' in comparison to the eye candy 'inside the room'....so in that regard, it felt a little 'flat' to me.
But, the talent for logo creation and the implementation of design that comes out of your business is second to none in my opinion. It's always a treat to see what you folks have and continue to create.
The harder you work, the better you get.

I truly enjoyed the trip through your website, still going back later; the beer signage was so beautiful but am very admirable that you created brochures for Lincoln exhibits!
thanks for all your hard work and eye candy! You guys are great; to see the family involved together is very cool.
