A while back, I had told myself I was never going to do this,,,,, agian. But last nite I was doing it again. Working off a pallet on a forklift. I was warned not to step to close to the edge on my backside, because the pallet would tilt over or if a hose breaks, the lift would drops very suddenly. Very comforting

Well..... I Can see the forks are too close together!!! They do move you know.... They should be spread as far apart as possible to be as close to the outside edges as possible! Then, like magic it Won't tip off the forks! You just have to be careful and not walk off the pallet.
Just sayin.

looks like you need to screw down the paper towel side well actually both sids you don't have an accident, sux to fall, but it the landing that gets you. but also looks like your'e probably done by now. funny how we do what we have to do...

Yeah, get those forks out, Alicia. Hope the job came out great!
My son and I recently did a job for a supermarket, undergoing re-hab. We had to take 8 lighted sign cans (each an individual letter of the old name) off the facia of the building; which was a real B----. Then we put up a simpler sign, made of aluminum composite, cut out in the shape of their logo (50 feet long).
It all had to be done off a forklift, with assist from an extension ladder. There were a few shaky moments, but like said above, being very careful is a good thing. I'm just thankful that I still remembered how to operate one of those things; it's been a good while.

Done that bunches of times; one about three months ago 12' up on the side of a steel building. Sure beats climbing a ladder. They make 'mancages' to go on those things too.
