I just had some stickers printed for a boat shop. The nice lady said "Oh, I do the same thing with my Cricket,,, I had to control my inner sign master nazi. I smiled and keep my mouth shut tight. The "Cricket" is a toy for children and bored housewives. It is not to be compared with the work I put out. Just because you own a few mechanics tools doesn't mean you have the skills rebuilt the engine from a Porshe 911 Turbo. I felt better after I deposited the check.

Good answer, and try the condensing and spacing with a cricket, right? My daughter has had a cricket for years to make gift cards but I think I am going to even give her a 4b to play with and teach her a few things too.

my wife is into scrapbooking and other crafts- she wants a cricket SO bad. I have always thought it was just a cheap cutter, but as it turns out, it is designed to cut paper, fabric, card stock, etc. It would be a great tool for her. For making commercial vinyl signs... not so much.
