Hi Guys. Please excuse me for this shamless promotion. I have a chance of winning an award in Germany for craftsmanship , i'm down to the last 10 candidates. Its called the United Kingdom Craft project (Ketle One Legacy award in Berlin) I would very much appreciate it if you could vote for me. I was sent a link 3 weeks ago but it has been sitting in my spam folder all this time, the voting has been open for 3 weeks.I still have 2 weeks left!. Please help by clicking on the link and pressing the star to vote. Seems like the other candiates have had a head start thanks to my spam folder! If you are based in the States you have to choose United Kingdom and then David Smith and vote on the star. many thanks! hope you don't mind me asking you to do this.! You can vote daily, and if I understand correctly the prize is 30,000 British pounds, which Dave said would help him gain international recognition - maybe that equates to workshops in America.

After seeing David's work, I can't believe there IS any competition. He is my glass hero. You got my vote and if you ever come to the US for a meet, I WILL be there.

Has anyone ever seen better work than Dave's? If he doesn't win I would suspect politics are involved.
