I have a job to do that involves sandblast etching a 5'x5' piece of tempered 3/8 glass. I have shot lots of glass, but its been a long time since I did tempered. The glass company will not ship the piece unless it is tempered. Any suggestions? I use 30 mesh sand "out in the open". Better media? Sources? Jer/Artworx

The glass company I deal with gets me the plate glass and AFTER I etch it, they send it out & have it tempered.

Can't do that,Tony, because of the size. I suggested doing that first. Best I expect is doing light etching as opposed to the digging in I usually do.
