I don't know if I've ever met Marti. I met Si at Fred's meet a few years ago and he's a hoot. He also called me in the hospital a few times to check on me when I was having my major health issues a couple years ago, which I really appreciate. I wish them both the best as they go through this.

I have fond memories of the day I spent with Marti in San Diego. That's a long story, but the short version is that Marti is a kind and thoughtful person.

I always loved this photo of Marti and Nettie. It's from Feb 2005 when a group of us had dinner in Southern Cal.
Marti looks so lovely (and so do you Nettie), smiling and happy. I've known Si and Marti for about 11 years now. I haven't seen them much the last 2 years or so but they both have a special place in my heart and those of my husband and my daughter.
I remember one day when I was ill, Si had told Marti that I was having some heart issues and she called me to give me her love and support. I still remember that day and hold it in my heart.
Si and Marti, please know you have our love and support always.

It's sad to see good people struggle. What a great sense of humor Si has even now he sends me goofy emails; he's like a rock and now we need to be a rock for him too. Our thoughts are with you Marty, and Si.

I feel so bad. I met Marti & Si both at the same time at Jill's Jamboree in the mountains. Si gave me a lesson on hand lettering! Marti is a really sweet lady. I'm praying for you Si, for both of you.

I've met Mardi twice: once in 2004 at Rapid Ray's Looney Meet, and in 2006 at Jills meet. My experience is similar to everyone elses, She is a sweet grandma type
