Thought I would let y'all know that I will be having colon surgery on November 9. Doc found a tumor during a routine exam, so they will cut out about a foot long piece of my colon, sew me back up, and hope nothing leaks. I'll be in the hospital a few days and then rest at home before going back to the studio.
They'll do a biopsy to determine any procedures from there.
I have a great physician, so I'm not worried.

Raymond...though I don't have religious beliefs as such I know from reading your posts over the years that you have a very strong belief in God...I think at times like this your faith will sustain you and see you through this...you are a strong person...myself and everyone else here hopes all will be well.

Proof that regular check ups are important. Thanks for reminding us. I know you'll bounce back, there's a lot of MDO out there that needs coating out and I can't do it all myself. All the best Raymond.

I understand that is a fairly simple surgery anymore, but any surgery is still surgery. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Hope to see you back here soon.

Thanks to all of you for the positive thoughts.
Rusty, my comment about having a great physician was not in reference to the doctor doing the surgery. Since there is a rule here about discussing religious matters I try to slip comments in between the lines. My "physician" says that everything works together for good and I believe it.
