I have a 4'x6' digital image to mount onto 1/2" thick black Ultraboard. I'm planning on using a matt laminate rather than gloss.
I've experanced "outgassing" before and this is going to be mounted in a inside mall 14' up.
Is there a better black foam to mount to?
1 layer is 1/2" and another smaller piece (2'x4')1" thick with prints on both layers. Siliconed together.

Hiya John,
I've only used Gatorfoam for graphics that thick and never had a problem with out-gassing (or curling).
I would also normally apply some iron-on edge banding. But, at 14" high, I don't think anyone would notice that it's not on there.

Havin' fun,

Checkers
