After the London 2012 olympic logo, anything would be an improvement. This video shows the designers of the Rio 2016 logo talk about it's development. I really liked the logo before watching the video but I think I like it even more now!
My mind wanders. And that's not a good thing, 'cause it's too small to be out there alone. Posts: 3129 | From: Tooele, UT | Registered: Mar 2005

It's alright, I guess. It is an improvement from the 2012 English Logo. But really, I don't see the visually creative spark that I was expecting to see from those top designers in Rio. Three guys holding hands. I would have like to see something that shows the human's spirit drive to perfection in sports. "Trying to grasp that gold metal" Oh well, next time.

I'm the minority here , but I thought London logo was classy and kind of showed the traditional feel of a city with a long history.
To me at least the Rio logo looks like it should be on a wrap that no one can comprehend! Although after looking at it for a while I got their concept.
I guess that's why they make chocolate and vanilla....

That is awesome. Tom I cannot help but think you are confusing the NBC London Olympic Art (Big Ben) which was different than the official one. The official 2012 looked like a spray-painted tag on a freight car.

David...without getting into graphic details there are distinctions in the ways one can throw up...the method I referred to involves "containment"...however if I look at the London logo again I might not be able to "contain".

Years ago, an employee's son was sick and bent over the commode. The employee asked his son, "Billy, did you throw up?" The young man answered, "No dad. I threw down!"
