you hear of someone who has cancer and your heart goes out for them and you really don't feel the fear and hurt they're going thru. I got the news Wednesday that my daughter has the worst kind of breast cancer there is.We as a family are devastated by this.With the support of our friends,doctors,and prayer,she will beat this.Please put Ashley Wood Fritts on your prayer list that healing will come to her. My family has been there numerous times over the past few years. My prayers are for you and all the family that the curse of cancer will be broken and that peace will come.
You will be able to feel the positive thoughts that are being sent to you.
I can't say that I know exactly how you feel, but I do know the pain of cancer news and it's not good. May you find comfort beyond what is possible through us.

Prayers coming your way. I know what you are feeling...I am an 8 year breast cancer survivor...you hear that "C" word, and your heart sinks. Sonny is right....there are so many new meds out there. Don't read all the bad stuff on the internet...it can bring you down. Give your daughter a big hug, and tell her, She CAN do it!

Bill, my heart and prayers go up for you and your daughter.
I do happen to know that we have 5 cancer survivors in our family, 4 breast and 1 kidney, all surviving for over 10 years and leading active lives. There is hope, like Pat said, thanks, Pat.
I do think that building the immune system is a sure bet when all this is going on, and hope you all reach out as there is a "lot" of good news online too. Be positive

Bill, got the same news leukemia about my uncle on Wednesday as well. his prognosis is a few weeks. I am sympathizing with your fear and sorrow and will be praying for your daughter with my whole heart.

I'll pray for her. This saddens me every time I hear of this happening to someone. Most people think their only recourse is what mainstream doctors tell them. I truly hope her conventional treatments work for her. But if the doctors aren't successful, look up some alternatives. MMS comes to mind as well as Doctor Burzynski in Texas. A friend of my wife had colon cancer, refused conventional treatment, went on a super high broccoli diet. Cancer free 35 years later. Cancer loves sugar. Eliminate all sugar and load up on fresh raw veggies and look up alkaline diet. Simple stuff that helps while you try conventional medicine first.

Thank you guys for all the prayers sent up for Ashley.She had extensive testing at Wake Forest medical center today that will show the severity of the cancer and if she has it elsewhere.I'll keep everyone posted when we hear results tomorrow.Please keep praying...she is 45..she is still "daddy's little girl"

First,I thank each and everyone who has responded to my post and who have urgently sent prayers up for Ashley.You guys all have such a caring heart and it's people like you all and our friends here in North Carolina are making this journey a bit easier.Ashley begins her 6 hour surgery Friday morning to remove this monster which is trying to take her from us.I ask that each one of you who are reading this post will take just a moment Friday morning at 6AM as her surgery begins to send prayers for her.My thanks to you guys is more grateful than you'll ever know.

I want to thank all of you for the kindness and concern you all have given to me and my family as we deal with Ashley's health issue.She had surgery this morning and came through it really good.They got all the cancer and found no other areas with it.She is facing several months of chemo and radiation treatments now.Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers that her extension of life shall be granted.

Bill, I don't post often like before years, but I just wanted you to know that what Dave and others have said about the immune system and that doctors aren't taught nutrition; (my mother was a nurse). Suzanne Sommers has a really cool book out and she did fight cancer and still is; there are many natural options and a new way of life for her that she shares with others. I wish you and your daughter the best in the recovery.
