The past few days have been tough. My sweet girl Jenna fell ill and had emerg surgery. Unfortunately, she didn't recover.
My heart is sad however I'm more happy to have had the privilege of having her in my life. She was the perfect timid, loyal, gentle walking companion and otherwise. She just got me and visa versa. There will never be another quite like her.
I will miss my shadow.
And thank-you to Dan and Peter for helping to assist when you were very much needed. It meant the world to me.
Animal lovers will get this... you can check out my video tribute on my blog at: Funky Junk Interiors
I find the videos and comments help with the healing process. I'm very blessed indeed.

Donna and Cody, my heart goes out to you and please just know there is something better as the Higher powers have in store for our loved souls.
I won't be able to watch the video right now either as it is too painful to experience sometimes but maybe later I will look. As Cat says you are blessed to have had these beautiful moments and love in your life and also to those who are also reading this and have experienced the loss of your pets.
May peace be with you and may you be comforted with hope in the beyond we can finally reunite kindred loved ones.

There's nothing quite like the unconditional love of a canine companion. As hard as it is to let go, we are blessed to have the time they are with us. I have no doubt that Jenna had a good home....

Donna, having had and lost Goldies over the years a friend of mine sent me this picture in an Email. I hope it loads OK as it probably shows what your dog thought of you
If the picture does not load just accept my sympathy for the loss of your buddy

I am truly sorry for your loss...from all you've shared I can tell just how amazing Jenna was and how much she meant to you...in this world when so many animals are neglected and abused she was lucky to have you...well you had each other...and that was a very good thing.

Thanks so very much guys! We are doing ok. The firsts have been a little difficult but the memories of her antics make me smile through whatever may ail me at any given moment.
By the sounds of it, she had other issues on the go unnoticed so it truly sounds like her time was up. And that in itself gives me comfort.
Sorry for whatever you may be going through as well.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have a special place in my shop for pictures of pets I have lost. Who knows, maybe they'll all be waiting for us again one day. I like to think so anyway.
