Equipment trailers were decorated with large art reproductions:
A real gas can slide guitar - and this guy can play the hell out of it:
Ziggy Marley on the Congo Square stage
All of the food vendor signs were handpainted and mounted on handpainted row house facades. The selections were heavily favored toward local cuisine - gumbo and gator for breakfast - YUM....

On my bucket list too Bro. They always have cool posters for that event. Did you snag one? I know a guy here in Reno who has 4 or 5 of 'em framed and hanging in his office. One a couple of years ago was painted by Tony Bennett.

Todd, the music's the thing - imagine catching a set with Dr. John, Warren Haynes and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band jamming, then walking over to see a few songs by the Eagles, bouncing over to see Wayne Toups and Zydecajun, then over to Grace Potter and Ziggy Marley with a stop in between for a really hot Flamenco. And that was just the first two hours! The real treat for me is seeing musicians I've never heard of who knock my socks off - Rodrigo y Gabriela, Bonerama and Bombino of Niger - and then the First Emmanuel Baptist Mass Choir took us all to heaven.
Brent, the posters were sold out, except for the limited edition pricey stuff but I did spring for a hat - let's get the Bluez Boyz together next year and we'll go pick up Mark in Monkeytown Abalama and have ourselves a big ol' time.
