I have had this painting urge going on in my head for the past couple of weeks. Grandpa Dan posted a pic of this mountain a couple of days ago and I had the urge to paint it. Well, here it is, it measures 12"X12" and is painted with a palette knife and acrylic on a stretched canvas.

Looks beautiful Michael...But do I see 1 or 3 faces "hidden/embedded" in that painting?

Michael...After looking more closely I can see even more...Some feline and a couple of birds?

Dave, now that you brought it up and looking more closely I see what you are describing. Those images were not planned at all. Isn't it cool what your eye will form if you stare at it long enough?

Thanks Diane. I've been messing around with different techniques. In this painting I painted primarily with a palette knife and added some brush strokes, here and there.
