Today I was in town to buy some supplies. The weather was warm, with a hint of spring, a perfect day for a drive. With the mountains surrounding us sporting a fresh coat of snow they were spectacular. One particular mountain always catches my eye. It is behind other closer peaks and is only visible from certain angles. The mountain is actually in the USA to the south. We don't have to pay taxes on it but still get to enjoy the view.
I took the picture in the parking lot of the fabric store with my little pocket point and shoot.

I did a little more checking, found the name of the mountain and looked it up on a map. I was mistaken in my previous location I wrote of above. ... (But I am directionally challenged as many know. - Just ask Duncan ) the mountain is actually Mount Slesse. It is some miles distant, southeast of town, near the USA border but still very much inside British Columbia, Canada.
The camera a small Olympus with an 18X optical zoom. I carry it everywhere in a small pouch on my belt.
