I have really enjoyed being my own boss and running a successful business - But a very good opportunity has been offered to me and I am going to change careers. I will most likely keep doing speciality projects for family and friends and will most likely stay in touch here. I have a buyer for my sign business and want to know if any of you have had experience selling and might have any contract or info that might be helpful. Thank you!

I heard from my real estate agent that you take the average of your profits over the years and add something .... maybe 25 or 50%.... not quite sure of the exact figure. Maybe it's on that website.
Good Luck.
What's the new avenue?

I will continue to do custom signwork for friends and family. My new adventure is marketing director for a Christian based youth camp. This is my first love and I have enjoyed working with youth in recreation for over 20 years, very grateful for this full time salary position with benefits.
