Just got a text from my Aunt in Cincy that Tod was on the news. Apparently the Sign Museum has been robbed several times lately by robbers looking for scrap metal to sell. So sad.

Will post the video if I can find it.

So sad and I read how they want to toughen up over a bunch of thieves.

Governments are doing this all over indeed but it really does little since it is easy to alter.

Thieves grab all my scrap and while I was IDing it at scrap yard, the same thieve came in with my scaffolding equipment and other equipment, well they did get caught later that day but all my stuff was not or will not be returned and it cost plenty to replace ouch.

I do not know how to stop this since most are crack heads that steal this easy money maker. and they are protect by laws just the same.

Sure do hope they find the signs stolen.

I apologize for the rant, but it's something I feel strongly about.

We've got a screwed up justice system.

It seems to me it's more about getting money for the government than any type of rehabilitation.

I think criminals should have to work while they're in jail and a percentage of the money would be used to pay for their incarceration, a percentage of it would be for restitution to fix what they had done, and percentage would be put into a savings account so that when they were released, they would be in a better position rather than back where they were or worse.

When you're done, you've paid for your mistake and that's that.

The way it is now, someone who is so poor that they're stealing, gets caught, they go to jail for a short time, no good job wants to hire them, and they're put on probation and have to pay their probation officer every month.

Backwards as can be.

dusty,

some jails have prisoners sorting garbage for recycling

since it is barely profitable to sort the garbage for recycling, it only makes sense to have prisoner from jails or prisons doing it

it's a job nobody wants, unless you're somebody tired of sitting in cell 24 hours a day
