I'll never understand why our turkey season runs from the middle of March to the middle of May here in Georgia. So we can have turkey for Easter? -I guess if it's f'd up, a politician must be involved. Probably got a kickback from the turkey farmers or has family or friends that are turkey farmers.
I'd feel alot better having a turkey for Thanksgiving that I shot myself, but that's just the country boy in me I guess. I'd even be up for a fall archery only turkey season. Reckon I could still have one as long as the game wardens don't know about it...

Yes, my brother did comment that he saw the store with the empty parking lot which was cool and then some two legged turkey running out with 3 4 legged turkeys and a shotgun! Good old Belvidere, ya hooooo.
