I never met Jon in person, but we had several good conversations over the years, and I'm sure he'll be long remembered for the beautiful mural work he did.

As Mayor Of Letterville I have decided to pass a Law. Death is banned forever from Letterville. No letterhead has, or will ever die. We won't stand for it.
Why? Well first of all it hurts too much. It's happening more frequently these days and I just can't say goodbye... too many years... too many memories.
I'll bet none of you really realize how important you are to someone due to Letterheads. Who ever dreamed they would become so involved in the day to day lives of people around the World? Bushie's arrival in Letterville resulted in Mayo, RT and others few of us going to Australia to work and share his home. We spent a week there. He fed me a kangeroo!
Barb and I just finished the upstairs bathroom we tossed together when Jon and Sue stayed here in Fergus with us. That had to be 3 years ago.
I'll miss his phone calls, but all I have to do is type Jon Butterworth in the Search Box. Years of stuff he taught us will always be there. Lots of photos in past meets. Bushie loved live meets.
And then there are the stories. I miss the painting and stuff that happened at live meets, but I really miss the private times. My adventures at Empys...the cats and sex aids at Adriennes...cruisin' around LA with Si... rockin with Sonny, meeting Joey...it just goes on and on.
I'm not ready to let Death steal all this. Love ya all.

EmpY thanks for putting that together. It's good to have you post again, it's been quite a while. I wonder if. RJ knows about this? Didn't he work with Bushie on some of those watertanks a few years ago?

I forgot to mention at his funeral the picture of him, with pride of place, was the great one that Bill Reidel did.
